Mango, often referred to as the “King of Fruits,” is one of the most popular and celebrated fruits in India. With an annual production of approximately 15.03 million tons, India contributes around 40.48% to the world’s total mango output. The export of Indian mangoes has shown impressive growth—rising from ₹142 crores in 2006–2007 to ₹209 crores in 2010–2011, marking a 47% increase. This growth highlights the strong potential for Indian mangoes in the global market, making mango export a promising opportunity for international trade.
